PT Tata Hamparan Eka Persada fully supports environmental sustainability commitments. We believe that long-term business success can only be achieved through ecologically responsible management of estates and mills, strict compliance with regulations, and preserving the Bangka Belitung ecosystem for future generations.
We implement Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) standards and closely monitor all estate and mill operational impacts to minimize carbon emissions, prevent water pollution, and halt local biodiversity degradation.

PT THEP Komitmen Pelestarian Alam & Biodiversitas
How we mitigate the ecological impacts of our oil palm estates in the field.
PT THEP implements a 100% zero-burning policy across all land preparation and replanting stages. We utilize modern mechanical land clearing methods to preserve soil microorganisms, retain organic matter, and prevent regional haze pollution.

Operational waste is creatively repurposed as resources. Solid waste like empty fruit bunches is returned to the fields as organic mulch. Liquid mill effluent (POME) is treated in dedicated wastewater ponds until safe and recycled for soil irrigation (land application), avoiding water body pollution.

We conduct assessments and map High Conservation Value (HCV) areas in our concessions. Riparian zones, springs, and forests rich in flora and fauna are strictly protected from farming activities. We prohibit illegal hunting of protected wildlife and conduct natural vegetation rehabilitation.
