PT. Tata Hamparan Eka Persada (THEP), operating in palm oil plantation and processing, was established in 1995 in Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Indonesia, with the initial status of Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN).
In 2007, ST. International, a South Korea-based company, formed a Joint Venture with Tradisi Group to develop THEP. In 2008, and continuing to the present day, THEP's status transitioned to Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) based on the approval letter from the Investment Coordinating Board number 27/V/PMA/2008.
The presence of THEP has brought a positive impact on economic progress and community welfare, especially in Bangka Regency and West Bangka Regency. THEP is committed to enhancing economic growth by opening up jobs, empowering local communities, improving infrastructure, and actively participating in community social activities through structured and measurable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
THEP fully supports environmental sustainability commitments by implementing sustainable palm oil plantation patterns, supporting natural environment and biodiversity conservation programs, implementing zero-burning land clearing practices, and promoting zero-waste utilization.
THEP applies work standards in accordance with the Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) guidelines and achieved ISPO certification in 2017.
